They are seeking an Accounting & Finance AI Automation Manager to design and implement AI-driven systems that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting and finance functions.ResponsibilitiesArchitect and deploy AI-enabled workflows across Accounting, Finance, and operational functions to materially reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and accelerate time-to-closeAutomate reconciliations, journal entries, accrual calculations, and close processes to create a more efficient and scalable monthly and quarterly closeIntegrate AI across financial and operational systems (ERP, POS, inventory, FP&A tools, data warehouses) to improve data integrity, consistency, and real-time visibilityDesign intelligent workflows that transform finance from a periodic reporting function into a continuous, real-time operating platformOwn and maintain existing AI and automation workflows ensuring ongoing reliability, performance, and audit readinessContinuously improve automated processes supporting AP accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, lease accounting, intercompany, and other complex accounting areasMonitor AI workflow performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve accuracy, speed, and scalabilityEstablish standardized automation frameworks that can be deployed consistently across multiple business units and entitiesLead AI initiatives from concept through pilot, testing, deployment, and enterprise-scale rolloutDefine project roadmaps, milestones, and measurable ROI targets tied to efficiency gains, cost reduction, and improved financial insightIdentify and implement repeatable automation patterns that can scale across multiple workflows and systemsDrive a culture of continuous improvement aligned with a Default-to-AI operating philosophySkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science required3+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or financial systems, with exposure to process improvement or automation initiativesExperience leveraging AI tools and large language models (LLMs) to automate or enhance accounting and finance processesExperience working with ERP systems and integrating data across multiple platformsStrong understanding of data structures, data quality, and system integrations across finance and operational systemsProven ability to analyze and redesign processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalabilityStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutionsExcellent communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally across Finance, IT, and OperationsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced environmentStrong Excel skills and experience with data visualization toolsExperience building or supporting automated reconciliations, close processes, or financial workflowsBenefitsPaid time off (PTO) including 8 paid holidays per year*Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance*401k retirement savings plan*Company paid Short-Term & Long-Term disability*Company paid Life Insurance*Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Employee referral programCommuter benefits*Product discountsAdditional compensation incentives (tips, bonuses, etc.)Company OverviewStory Cannabis offers cannabis products and services, focusing on patient education and community engagement.
