They are seeking an Account Manager to maximize customer value and identify growth opportunities within a defined territory of SMB clients, focusing on customer retention and upselling. This role involves maintaining relationships, managing sales cycles, and leveraging data-driven decisions to achieve revenue goals.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and form new relationships with different buyers at small to mid-market brandsRelentless focus on the customer experience and how to maximize their value realization with SyndigoManage the full sales cycle for renewal opportunities within a defined customer base, and renegotiate more favorable termsCollaborate with expansion sellers to identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities within a defined customer base to meet growth targetsDedicate time to learning and skill growth to achieve KPIs and grow as a sales professionalLeverage the Syndigo tech stack to make data-driven decisions, document customer communication, prioritize approach to the territory, stay organized, and accurately forecast revenue outcomesDiagnose and engage higher risk customers and leverage internal resources to direct a resolution strategyNavigate Syndigo's solutions on behalf of the client, ensuring the appropriate solution is proposed to meet a client's problemsProblem solve with customers and guide them through the complex product information and syndication landscape to position yourself and Syndigo as a valued partnerSkills2+ years of sales or account management experience, ideally B2B and in the SaaS spaceBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience requiredMotivation to learn, problem solve, and develop skills to be successful and grow a career in tech salesFamiliar with the fundamentals of sales and the basics of customer serviceStrong relationship building, listening, and interpersonal skillsComfortable with using technology in daily workflows and decision-makingStrong organization and time management skills are criticalAbility to write and speak clearly and professionallyExperience in SaaS, managed services, and analytics is a major plusExperience doing business with consumer brands and/or retailers is a plusPrevious training and practice with a sales methodology is a major plusExperience using Salesforce is a major plusBenefitsCompetitive health insurance benefitsPTO and volunteer time offEmployer-paid short- and long-term disabilityParental and adoption leave401(k)Tuition reimbursementThis position is commission eligible.Company OverviewSyndigo enables commerce by supporting the efficient transfer of product information through its network of brands and their customers.
