They are seeking an Account Manager who will be responsible for driving demand and ensuring optimal treatment for patients eligible for Galafold and Pombiliti Opfolda, while engaging with healthcare providers and managing key accounts.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and franchise prioritiesDrive demand generation across target HCP segments (e.g., geneticists, cardiologists, neurologists, metabolic specialists)Prioritize accounts using data-driven insights to optimize impactDeliver against sales objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for both Galafold and Pombiliti OpfoldaBuild and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key customers and accountsDeliver high-quality, compliant product education aligned with approved messagingEngage customers across the patient journey, including diagnosis, treatment initiation, and long-term managementIdentify and address barriers to treatment, partnering cross-functionally to resolve access and operational challengesDrive initiatives to improve diagnosis and patient finding in Fabry and Pompe diseasesCollaborate with stakeholders to expand awareness of disease and treatment optionsSupport efforts to enhance cascade screening, referral pathways, and diagnostic ratesLeverage digital tools to reinforce customer engagement and educationPartner closely with Clinical Coordinators (CCs): to support patient onboarding and continuity of careMarket Access: to navigate reimbursement and access challengesMedical Affairs: to ensure scientific alignment and appropriate customer engagementMarketing: to provide field insights and execute brand tactics locallyAnalyze territory performance and market dynamics to identify opportunities and risksProvide actionable field insights to inform brand strategy, messaging, and resource allocationMaintain accurate records and forecasts using CRM systems and reporting toolsOperate in full compliance with all company policies, legal regulations, and industry guidelinesDemonstrate BioMarin’s values, with a strong focus on patient centricity and ethical conductSkillsBachelor's degree required5+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or rare disease sales experienceProven track record of driving sales performance and achieving results in complex marketsStrong account management and territory planning capabilitiesExperience engaging with specialty HCPs and navigating complex treatment pathwaysExperience in rare disease, specialty biologics, or enzyme therapiesPrior experience in Fabry disease, Pompe disease, or related therapeutic areasDemonstrated ability to drive patient finding and market development initiativesExperience working in highly cross-functional, matrixed organizationsCompany OverviewFounded in 1997, BioMarin is a global biotechnology company dedicated to transforming lives through genetic discovery.
