The role involves driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction across a portfolio of strategic accounts within the life sciences sector, acting as a trusted advisor to clients.ResponsibilitiesBuild and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders across assigned accounts, increasing customer engagement and retentionDevelop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth, profitability, and expansion opportunitiesIdentify new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with Sales and Solution teams to pursue themPosition and promote a portfolio of language, content, and AI-enabled solutions tailored to client needsServe as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery and issue resolutionAct as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and servicesMonitor account performance, ensuring alignment with KPIs, contractual commitments, and client expectationsMaintain accurate data, reporting, and compliance with internal processes and account management standardsSupport and mentor junior team members or account managers, where applicableStay informed on industry trends in life sciences, localization, and AI-driven language technologies (e.g., machine translation, generative AI, automation tools)SkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Economics, or a related field3–5 years of experience in Account Management, managing enterprise or strategic clientsExperience within the localization, language services, or content solutions industryKnowledge of the Life Sciences industry, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or CRO environmentsFamiliarity with regulated content and workflows (e.g., clinical trials, regulatory submissions, medical communications) is a strong advantageUnderstanding of industry terminology, compliance requirements, and quality standards in healthcare and life sciencesExposure to or strong interest in AI technologies, such as machine translation, generative AI, or automation tools applied to content and localization workflowsDemonstrated ability to grow accounts and manage complex client relationshipsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate client needs into tailored solutionsExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teamsExperience leading or mentoring team members is a plusBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Account options.Many other voluntary options to choose from: Voluntary Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability, Buy-Up Short-Term Disability, Identity Theft, Legal Insurance and Critical Illness Insurance.401(k) plan with 50% match on 12% employee contribution - providing an employer contribution of up to 6%.Starting with 15 days of paid time off annually, with ability to move to 28 days within five years of tenure.Nine paid holidays per year.Company OverviewAcolad is a global leader in content and language solutions.
