The Account Manager role focuses on delivering sales performance within the salads and open-field tomato portfolios, managing customer relationships, and executing sales plans to achieve commercial outcomes.ResponsibilitiesDeliver sales results for the assigned region in line with agreed targetsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key local stakeholdersManage customer orders, demand visibility, and ongoing commercial activities within the regionSupport the execution of crop group and business strategies at a regional levelProvide timely market and customer feedback to support forecasting and business decision‑makingManage sales activities within the assigned region, achieving agreed volume and revenue targetsBuild and maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships through regular contact and on‑farm or on‑site engagementSupport key customers with product selection, availability, and commercial discussionsNegotiate pricing and commercial terms within agreed guidelinesContribute to accurate regional sales forecasts through close customer interaction and market awarenessManage orders and sales administration in line with internal processesSupport demand planning by providing timely and accurate forecasts and market informationWork closely with Country Manager and Business Development Manager and internal teams to support overall sales objectivesProvide market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insightsRepresent the business professionally at customer meetings, field days, and regional eventsSkillsExperience in sales or account management, preferably within agriculture, horticulture, seed, or related industriesProven ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver sales resultsStrong customer-focused sales capability with sound commercial acumenPractical understanding of agricultural production systems and customer requirementsStrong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple customers and priorities effectivelyClear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with othersCompany OverviewBASF is a manufacturing company that offers chemicals for industries such as construction and coatings, automotive, and various sectors.
