Pharmacist - RPh - Hiring Immediately
Overview:** Chewy is seeking a Pharmacist to serve our "neighborhood pharmacy" in Louisville, KY at our Fern Valley location. As a Pharmacist for Chewy, you will be an integral member of the pharmacy team, committed to providing outstanding care and wellness services for pet parents and their pets. **Responsibilities:**
ā¢ Interpret and verify medication orders
ā¢ Review prescriber medication... orders to identify possible dosing, scheduling, contraindication, allergy, drug interaction, and/or incompatibility problems
ā¢ Communicate with Veterinarians and their staff and Pet Parents as required
ā¢ Oversee and direct pharmacy technicians and interns, providing ongoing training and coaching as needed
ā¢ Maintain necessary records to fulfill Federal and State legal requirements and pharmacy policies
ā¢ Uphold operational standards including performance metrics, safety, and compliance
ā¢ Perform related duties and assignments as directed by management
ā¢ Position may require travel
ā¢ *Qualifications:**
ā¢ Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (RPh) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
ā¢ Must have an active pharmacy license in the state of Kentucky with license in good standing, as well as other states and credentials as required
ā¢ Strong customer services and attention to detail
ā¢ Ability to lead a team
ā¢ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
ā¢ Ability to work a variety of schedules including, evenings, holidays, and weekends
