[Remote] Account Executive; Public Sector (DoD/IC)

The Account Executive for the US Federal Department of Defense and Intelligence Agencies will develop and execute a territory plan to drive sales of OffSec’s cybersecurity training platform within a defined territory.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrating effective account management and planning skillsUnderstanding customer requirements and proposing solutions to key stakeholders and decision-makersIntimate understanding of the US Federal Government’s Contracting/Procurement processes, including various Contract Vehicles, BPA’s, BOA’s, etc…Generation of quotes and ability to support formal proposalsAbility to provide a Demo of the OffSec training platformAccurate forecasting and pipeline managementFollow up on MQLs promptly and be able to generate leads/prospects (including developing sales campaigns with OffSec Marketing and channel partners)Understanding the competitive landscape and how OffSec competes/positionsOpen to Traveling when required and justified by opportunity or by eventAbility to work with OffSec Distribution and Channel partnersSkills3+ Years of Experience selling into the U.S. Federal Government DoD/IC CommunityProven ResultsDocumented success in similar roles, demonstrating the ability to drive sales and grow market shareSense of UrgencySales ExperienceProven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targetsExperience in managing long sales cycles and complex dealsAccount ManagementExperience in managing large accounts and maintaining long-term relationshipsSkills in upselling and cross-selling within existing accountsEducational BackgroundA background in education, business, or related fields can be advantageousAdvanced degrees or specialized training related to education or sales may be beneficialNetworking ExperienceEstablished connections within the DoD/IC sector, including relationships with key influencers and decision-makersDemonstrated ability to leverage relationships with resellers and distributor partnersBackground selling through/to FSI's, Primes/Subs, within the DoD/IC community is a plusBackground or experience selling Cybersecurity training or related products is a plusFamiliarity with DoD 8570/8140, PCTE, U.S. Cyber Command, and DCWF is a plusBenefitsWork hours for this position are flexible and will be performed from a home office.Company OverviewOffSec (fka Offensive Security) is empowering the world to fight cyber threats with indispensable cybersecurity skills and resources.
