[Remote] Account Executive - Nexcess
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Nexcess provides specialty cloud solutions for organizations where performance and compliance have to coexist. The Account Executive is responsible for driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth across Nexcess Specialty Cloud and managed hosting solutions, focusing on net-new revenue generation, relationship development, and deal closure.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities in target markets for managed hosting, cloud, and IaaS offeringsManage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through negotiation and contract executionCollaborate with Marketing to convert marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) into opportunities and develop targeted outbound campaignsPartner with Sales Engineering and Product teams to develop tailored solutions for prospectsDeliver compelling sales presentations and product demos to executive-level decision makersMaintain accurate pipeline data and forecasting within CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)Consistently achieve or exceed assigned monthly and quarterly new revenue goalsProvide market feedback to leadership on product positioning, pricing, and emerging customer needsRepresent Nexcess at industry events, conferences, and virtual engagements to build brand visibilityCollaborate with Customer Success to ensure a smooth transition from sales to onboardingOther duties as assignedSkills5+ years of B2B sales experience in technology, hosting, SaaS, or IT servicesProven success closing new business and meeting/exceeding quota in a competitive environmentStrong understanding of web hosting, cloud infrastructure, and digital transformation solutionsExceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsExperience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)Ability to develop trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholdersHighly self-motivated and comfortable with autonomous prospecting and pipeline ownershipUnderstanding of subscription-based or recurring revenue modelsBackground in consultative or solution selling methodologies (e.g., Challenger, MEDDIC, SPIN)BenefitsComprehensive benefits packageTraditional and Roth 401(k) with company matchingA collaborative, team-oriented cultureConsistent and predictable work hoursEngaging, varied work that keeps each day differentOpportunities to contribute ideas and influence how work gets doneCompany OverviewSpecialized cloud solutions for organizations in highly regulated, compliance-driven industries that prioritize performance & control.
