The Account Executive, Majors is responsible for selling Dayforce’s HCM solutions to mid-market companies, engaging with senior decision-makers and driving new business in their assigned territory.ResponsibilitiesAttains sales quota by creating and executing a business plan to exceed revenue goals and expand Dayforce’s value within the HCM spaceDevelops mutually beneficial relationships with C-suite and other key decision makers and influencers, particularly within HR, finance, and operationsLeverages knowledge of prospect’s business and industry, as well as Dayforce’s HCM capabilities, to establish value and create new opportunitiesEstablishes and executes sales strategies that effectively present a strong HCM business case to prospects, using competitive intelligence to position Dayforce against other HCM providersLeads HCM-focused sales engagements and involves resources as needed to address prospect’s HR and workforce-related business challengesConducts negotiations on behalf of Dayforce to secure sales that represent good business within current sales framework, authorities, and practicesMaintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast dataCaptures all relevant information in CRM systemFollows all defined processes and timelinesKeeps current on Dayforce processes and any relevant changesCompletes HCM certifications and maintains deep proficiency in Dayforce’s HCM platform, including HR, payroll, and workforce management capabilitiesEffectively communicates how Dayforce HCM applications solve complex business problems across the employee lifecycleSkills5+ years of direct experience selling HCM (Human Capital Management) software solutions is requiredCandidates without HCM sales experience will not be consideredProven track record of prospecting, developing, and closing new HCM business opportunitiesDemonstrated ability to exceed sales objectives in B2B HCM sales over the course of several yearsExperience in consultative sales engagements specifically within HCM or HR technologyERP or other enterprise software experience is only relevant if it included direct HCM solution salesStrong understanding of HCM solutions, including HRIS, payroll, benefits, and workforce managementProven ability to develop relationships with mid-level and C-suite leaders by leveraging a strong understanding of HCM business drivers, value expectations, and ROI/business case developmentDemonstrated ability to effectively negotiate with internal and external constituentsModerate to extensive travel required, depending upon assigned territoryValid driver's license requiredBenefitsExcellent time away from work programsComprehensive wellness initiativesRecognition through competitive pay and benefitsVolunteer daysOpportunities for you to thrive both in your career and personal lifeCompany OverviewDayforce is a time and attendance application that helps businesses automate clocking and streamline employee payroll.
