[Remote] Account Executive & Growth Officer (AGO)- Defense Portfolio

They are seeking a senior executive to serve as Account Executive and Growth Officer for their Defense Portfolio, responsible for portfolio growth, pipeline quality, and revenue realization across the defense and homeland security community.ResponsibilitiesOwn multi-year growth strategy across DoD and DHS componentsDeliver quarterly growth targets tied to pipeline, win probability, awards, and revenue realizationDrive book-to-bill performance and topline revenue growthLead capture for large-scale opportunities ($50M–$1B+)Shape priority IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs, and defense-specific contract vehiclesImplement disciplined capture processes: competitive intelligence, price-to-win, solution positioningServe as executive sponsor for must-win programs and strategic recompetesAlign growth strategy with ASG’s capabilities in cybersecurity, DevSecOps, digital identity, cloud, AI/ML, and advanced analyticsEnsure compliance with FAR/DFARS, RMF, NIST, FedRAMP, and defense security requirementsTranslate warfighter and national security mission needs into executable technical solutionsBuild trusted relationships with senior defense and homeland security leadersRepresent ASG at industry days, defense forums, and strategic briefingsDevelop teaming strategies with large primes, integrators, OEMs, and emerging technology partnersBuild and lead high-performing BD, capture, and proposal teamsEstablish growth dashboards, reporting cadence, and executive-level metricsDrive a culture of disciplined execution and accountabilityOther duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in a related field15+ years leading federal growth within defense or homeland security marketsProven success winning and scaling contracts across DoD or DHSDeep understanding of defense acquisition pathways and competitive dynamicsExperience leading large IDIQ pursuits and strategic recompetesStrong executive presence and ability to engage senior defense stakeholdersMaster's degreePrior P&L ownership or direct accountability for revenue growth, margin performance, and book-to-bill resultsExperience supporting defense IT modernization, mission systems integration, cybersecurity, zero trust, cloud transformation, C5ISR, or classified environmentsFamiliarity with acquisition models and contracting approaches within the U.S. DoD, DISA, US Army, or DHSActive security clearance (Secret, TS, or TS/SCI)Demonstrated success building and scaling high-performing growth organizations within high-growth federal defense contractorsBenefitsHealthcare BenefitsLifeDisabilityPaid Time Off401k MatchingEmployee Referral BonusEducation AssistanceLearning and Development resourcesCompany OverviewA Minority, Woman-Owned, Small Disadvantaged Business.
