[Remote] Account Executive, Fundraising Experiences

The Account Executive is responsible for closing new business and expanding the customer base through consultative sales of OneCause solutions, managing the full sales cycle from lead qualification to contract negotiation.ResponsibilitiesManage a full sales cycle, including qualification, discovery, solution alignment, proposal creation, and contract negotiation, to close new business with nonprofit clients across North AmericaConduct discovery meetings with prospective customers to identify key organizational challenges and tailor OneCause solutions accordinglyDeliver product demonstrations that align to client-specific fundraising goals and clearly communicate value propositionsGenerate additional qualified opportunities via referrals, professional networking, and self-directed prospectingTrack and manage sales activities and pipeline using Salesforce and other sales tools to ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline visibilityDevelop and present customized proposals and pricing structures aligned with customer goals and organizational objectivesAchieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals through high-impact sales execution and strong follow-up practicesRegularly report sales metrics, progress, and insights to leadership and adapt strategy based on performance feedbackCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support onboarding handoffs and ensure smooth transition of new customersContinuously adopt and adapt to new technologies and internal sales process updates to enhance productivityStay informed of nonprofit industry trends and fundraising best practices to provide relevant and consultative supportParticipate in team strategy sessions and training to share insights and improve performance across the sales organizationSkillsExperience managing a full sales cycle from discovery through closeStrong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and internal reportingAbility to document and forecast pipeline accurately using a CRM such as SalesforceFamiliarity with fundraising practices in nonprofit organizationsProficiency using productivity tools and sales technologies to manage time and workload effectively3–5 years of quota-carrying sales experience, preferably in SaaS or nonprofit technologyExposure to nonprofit fundraising practices or direct work with mission-driven organizationsProficiency with Salesforce, Gong, ZoomInfo, or similar sales enablement platformsDemonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales goals in a high-velocity sales environmentFamiliarity with AI-enhanced tools for prospecting, qualification, or customer engagementBenefitsA comprehensive benefits package that supports your health, well-being and growthBonusesIncentivesEquityA comprehensive benefits programCompany OverviewBonterra is a social good software company.
