[Remote] Account Executive

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. threatER is looking for driven Account Executives with a strong foundation in outbound sales and cybersecurity experience. The role involves managing the sales pipeline, running discovery calls, and prospecting into security and IT personas, all within a fast-paced startup environment. Responsibilities Must-Haves: 1–3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales — ideally progressing from BDR/SDR to AE Proven ability to run discovery, manage pipeline, and move deals forward (even if not yet closing solo) Strong outbound background — comfortable prospecting into security and IT personas (CISO, SecOps, etc.) Highly coachable and hungry to level up quickly in a startup environment Cybersecurity experience and willingness to ramp quickly on the tech (we’ll help) Understands the Channel and has local channel relationships Has used tools like Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Nav, etc Nice-to-Haves: Previous experience selling to technical buyers (e.g., DevOps, SecOps, IT) Some exposure to security tools, threat intelligence, or broader SaaS infrastructure Experience at a high-velocity outbound motion (Series A–C startup preferred) Why This Role: Mission-driven: Help security teams turn threat intel into action, not shelfware Mentorship-heavy: You’ll work closely with sales leadership that knows how to build reps into stars Growth-focused: This is the role for someone ready to go from junior AE → top closer → future leader Skills 1–3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales — ideally progressing from BDR/SDR to AE Proven ability to run discovery, manage pipeline, and move deals forward (even if not yet closing solo) Strong outbound background — comfortable prospecting into security and IT personas (CISO, SecOps, etc.) Highly coachable and hungry to level up quickly in a startup environment Cybersecurity experience and willingness to ramp quickly on the tech (we'll help) Understands the Channel and has local channel relationships Has used tools like Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Nav, etc Previous experience selling to technical buyers (e.g., DevOps, SecOps, IT) Some exposure to security tools, threat intelligence, or broader SaaS infrastructure Experience at a high-velocity outbound motion (Series A–C startup preferred) Benefits High-equity upside Room for fast advancement as we scale Company Overview Threater provides active network defense by automating the discovery, enforcement, and analysis of cyber threats at scale.
