They are seeking an entrepreneurial, motivated sales professional to identify and close new business opportunities in the personal injury plaintiff market.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, engage, and build relationships with prospective law firm partnersFacilitate introductory calls, manage the diligence processes, and guide opportunities through the decision-making processMaintain and nurture a pipeline of qualified opportunitiesNegotiate commercial terms and drive transactions to closePartner directly with leadership to help refine strategy, tailor messaging, and target profilesHelp build our foundational sales processes and best practices as the strategy scalesSkills4+ years of experience in full cycle sales, business development, investment sourcing, or other relevant relationship-driven rolesProven track record of independently sourcing and closing opportunitiesExcellent written and verbal communication, as well as the ability to adjust tone and approach based on audienceStrong negotiation, and relationship-building skills to build trust with senior professionals who are not easy to reach and are skeptical of traditional sales outreachExperience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder decision-making processesComfortable operating with autonomy, including building your own target lists, crafting your own outreach, and developing your sales strategy without a rigid playbookYou're excited about the opportunity to build a new strategyExperience working with law firms or professional services businessesFamiliarity with the personal injury plaintiff bar is a plusExperience managing complex transactions or consultative sales processesCompany OverviewLegalist is an institutional alternative asset management firm.
