[Remote] Account Executive

CentralSquare Technologies is seeking an Account Executive to develop and maintain relationships with new customers to increase revenue. The role involves achieving strategic sales objectives in a specific region and prospecting new clients for the company’s software solutions.ResponsibilitiesProspects, develops, and closes contracts for a specified geographic territoryBuilds and maintains a high-performance sales pipeline; creates and nurtures a positive and professional imageUtilizes Solutions Selling strategies to determine client needs; communicates effectively and professionallyTravels to client sites, attends conferences/trade shows, performs discovery sessions, and coordinates demonstrations for potential clientsDocuments sales activity with prospective clients using the company’s Client Relationship Management (CRM), currently Salesforce.com, software; manages sales opportunities, activities, and sales pipelineWorks with Pricing Managers and Sales Directors to produce contracts and develop quotes with potential clientsProvides leadership, strategy, and input in activities to respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) from prospective clientsConducts appropriate amount of competitive research and maintains knowledge of competitive productsSupports ongoing organizational improvement efforts and maintains good inter-departmental relationshipsMaintains a thorough understanding of the public sector industry including trends, business practices, financial measurements and performance indicators, and key competitors. Lends expertise and assists with special projects as neededPerforms all other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's Degree preferred, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer ScienceRequires 3 -5 years of selling experience, preferably in technical of software field sales and integration effortsKnowledge of Project Management, team building, budgeting, and solutions selling and its applicabilityProficient in MS Office suiteKnowledge of CRM softwareKnowledge of Salesforce a plusExperience with the regular use of mobile devicesSignificant experience with large volume sales, preferably selling a software application/solution or comparable advanced technology product/serviceProven attention to detail and thorough documentationPolished presentation skillsProven sales track record that demonstrates consistent success in meeting or exceeding quotaTravel: Up to 30%Bachelor's Degree preferred, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer ScienceKnowledge of Salesforce a plusCustomer Service or support experience a plusCompany OverviewCentralSquare Technologies is the trusted provider of public sector software in North America.
