Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Blender Expert to lead 3D project pipelines from concept to production-ready outputs. The role involves managing advanced BIM workflows within Blender and collaborating with distributed teams to ensure project quality and alignment.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Lead complete 3D project pipelines in Blender from concept development to production-ready outputs
ā¢ Utilize Bonsai (formerly BlenderBIM) to manage advanced BIM workflows within Blender
ā¢ Model, structure, and refine geometry and BIM data ensuring accuracy and cross-platform interoperability
ā¢ Import and export IFC files, organize scenes, manage building elements, and apply parametric adjustments
ā¢ Clearly document workflow processes and articulate design and modeling decisions
ā¢ Collaborate with distributed teams to maintain project alignment and quality standards
ā¢ Prepare professional-grade documentation and outputs suitable for design and construction use
Skills
ā¢ Advanced expertise in Blender with a portfolio demonstrating full project lifecycle execution
ā¢ Extensive practical experience with Bonsai/BlenderBIM, including complex BIM modeling and IFC management
ā¢ Strong understanding of BIM workflows, structured project data, and building element organization
ā¢ Working knowledge of AutoCAD and other 3D CAD platforms for interoperability
ā¢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong documentation ability
ā¢ Proven ability to independently manage complex projects from concept to final deliverables
