Position Summary

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing distributor relationships in the New Jersey, Southern NY, & Eastern Pennsylvania territory. This role focuses on promoting RKI’s gas detection products, supporting channel partners and end users, and expanding market presence through strategic sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share goals.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing distributors and identify new distribution opportunities.
• Provide product training, technical support, and sales guidance to distribution partners and end users.
• Conduct joint sales calls, product demonstrations, and end-user presentations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the gas detection industry.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing programs and promotional activities.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and account plans for the region.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related technical field preferred.
• 3+ years of sales experience in industrial safety, instrumentation, or related markets.
• Proven ability to manage distribution channels and achieve sales targets.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with gas detection products or industrial instrumentation is a plus.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout New Jersey Southern NY, & Eastern Pennsylvania.
