DRIVER MERCHANDISER
Job Duties: Route Driver
As the Route Driver, you will be responsible for one of Ada Coca-Cola Bottling Co.s truck routes. It will be your job to deliver the product to our customers and in many cases stock the product in coolers or shelves.
Attendance
Ā As an Ada Coca-Cola Bottling Co. employee, you are required to be present when scheduled by your supervisor.
Ā You are expected to arrive at the plant ready to work at 5 AM and on the road by 5:30 A.M. (see attendance policy, pg. 19 ACCBC handbook)
Duties
Ā Deliver product to our customers. This includes picking up empty shells and carts.
Ā Stock coolers, displays, and shelves.
Ā Rotate the customers back stock to minimize spoilage. Make sure and check dates.
Ā Always follow DOT Regulations
Ā Visit all scheduled stops.
Ā You are responsible for the cleanliness of your truck/trailer (inside and out). Mandatory cleaning once per week, interior every day.
Ā You are responsible for the maintenance of your truck.
Ā Pre Trip and Post Trip forms are to be filled out daily and kept in the vehicle for 7 days.
Ā Check the Oil, Engine Coolant, Transmission Fluid, Lights, Tires, Brakes etc.
Ā Keeping track of the oil change intervals and letting the Shop know when its due.
Ā Tire pressure is to be checked with a pressure gauge twice a week.
Ā Drive safely and cautiously. The use of cell phones or other electronic devices while driving is prohibited.
Ā You are responsible for the equipment and products that you handle.
Ā You must know the proper usage of the handheld and printer system.
Ā Clean off your carts when returning to the plant.
Ā Communicate with your salesman and supervisor on issues that you encounter in the market. (damaged product)
Ā Returns/Refusals The salesman must be contacted while you are at the store. This gives them the opportunity to sell the product in.
Ā Always look professional, wear company uniform. (hygiene, facial hair, tucked in shirt)
Ā Hats must be coke/dr. pepper identified
Ā Use excellent customer service skills. Be friendly and personable to the customers.

Must have valid Class A Commercial Drivers License.
