About the Role The Regional Admissions Lead plays a key role in the intake and admissions process, serving as a trusted point of contact for patients, families, and referral partners. In this role, you will: Support admissions operations for multiple facilities within your region Assist individuals and families seeking treatment by collecting clinical and demographic information Review prospective admissions for appropriateness based on criteria and policies Provide day‑to‑day guidance and feedback to admissions team members Maintain quality assurance standards and best operational practices Build strong communication loops with referral sources and community partners Coordinate assessments, transportation, and next steps for incoming patients Document all admissions processes accurately and professionally You will represent Acadia Healthcare with empathy, professionalism, and exceptional customer service — helping people access the right level of care at a critical moment in their lives. What You’ll Bring as a Regional Admissions Lead College degree preferred Two years of healthcare admissions experience , ideally in behavioral health, substance abuse, or mental health Strong communication and customer‑service skills Ability to collaborate across multiple departments and facilities High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills Comfort working in a fast‑paced, emotionally sensitive environment Experience using CRM or electronic health record systems preferred Preferred Certifications Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor (CCDS) Certified Employee Assistance Program (CEAP) CPR and de‑escalation/restraint certification (provided upon hire) First Aid certification may be required depending on facility/state SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS: This position is an Individual Contributor While this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the requirements of the job, management reserves the right to add or remove duties from particular jobs when circumstances (e.g. emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs or technological developments) dictate.
