Receptionist for Ophthalmology Office

Full-time receptionist position available at a fast-paced ophthalmology practice. We are seeking a candidate to join our team who has excellent customer service skills with the ability to multi-task and a strong desire to learn, who enjoys working with patients of all ages.

Experience in a medical office required. Experience with EMR is a must. Duties include answering the telephone, patient check-in/out, ability to verify insurance is helpful, previous billing experience is preferred, etc.

Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling information
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred
