Receiving Clerk
Established company seeks an experienced Material Handler and Receiving Clerk who is great at Multi Tasking, very detailed, and ready to work well in a team atmosphere for the Livermore area.
The Shipping/Receiving Clerk will report directly to our Director, Operations, Facilities and Production Management and in this position will work closely with the shipping/receiving staff as well as the production managers to meet shipping demands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to (other duties may be assigned): Β Assist in stocking of shipping products and supplies Β Match blanket orders to assembly travelers Β Process outside service forms Β Create and print shipping labels as needed Β Resolve Shipping issues as required with the appropriate personnel Β Oversee the reorder of shipping supplies to ensure adequate supply Β Maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast paced environment Β Shipping domestic and international shipments Qualifications:
Β Worked in a manufacturing environment with forklifts. Β Ability to properly lift up to 50 lbs Β Able to work overtime and cover other shifts as needed Β Willing to accept additional duties and cross train in the manufacturing environment Β Good communication skills
Must be able to stand on concrete floors for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
Must be able to ascend and descend stepladders.
Must be able to push or pull up to 900 pounds or equivalency utilizing a manual cart.
Must be able to stoop, squat, and bend.
Must be able to frequently reach laterally, and overhead occasionally.
Must be able to frequently grasp objects.
Must possess sufficient visual and audio acuity to work safely and accurately in an industrial environment.
Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Experience: Β Two years experience working in a shipping/receiving environment Β Computer skills required Β Experience in shipping FedEx/UPS system Β This position requires working experience with forklifts that are both standing and sitting.
Shift : Monday - Friday 7am-330pm with possible OT
Pay : $23 - $25 based on Experience
