Truman Blvd, Jefferson City, MO 65109 Why You’ll Love This Position The Family and Children Electronic System (FACES) team supports the maintenance of 300+ screens and 1500+ modules within FACES and 20+ .NET applications for DSS Children's Division. These systems continue to grow and evolve with new customer and legislative requirements. The selected candidate will assist the team in business analysis, testing and documenting the changes to these systems to ensure the team is delivering a high-quality product to the customer. Joining the Office of Administration's FACES ITSD team provides highly meaningful work supporting Missouri's families and children. The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay. This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the Missouri Department of Social Services. Coordinate, plan and perform testing of any new or modified functionality through the use of scripts and other procedures. Create, review and implement test plans and scripts. Identify, record, and document testing. Test bug/maintenance fixes identified in tickets. Learn and document changes to the FACES application and supporting applications. Work with customer to develop system change requirements. Develop and evolve detailed business requirements. Assist with mainframe batch processes when needed. Other duties as assigned. Participate in 24/7 on-call support. Experience using the Children's Division FACES system is highly preferred. Ability to listen and understand testing issues, follow testing procedures and document outcomes. Ability to work with others as part of a fast paced, high performing team. Ability to review and interpret business requirements from various sources. Ability to participate in business requirement and design development. Ability to plan, organize, and manage time. Communicate well in written and verbal form with teammates, business customer and management. Ability to build test scripts to test new or existing features. Ensure adherence to security and accessibility standards. The ability to learn the FACES processes and document how those processes work.
