Quality Automation Engineer- ERP Development Team (Remote)

Job Summary WebstaurantStore is looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer (mid to senior level) to join our ERP development team and play a key role in building out our automation framework. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the foundation of our testing strategy and help ensure the quality of the systems that drive our business. Our ERP software engineering team develops and enhances the systems that power critical operations across the company, including procurement, inventory control, logistics, sales order processing, accounts receivable/payable, and financial processes. We work primarily with the Microsoft .NET stack, using C# as our main programming language. The team’s development scope includes desktop applications, web services, queued services, front-end web interfaces, and mobile applications. Responsibilities As a Quality Automation Engineer, you will: • Contribute to the design and development of the test automation framework and supporting infrastructure. • Build and maintain automation frameworks and test suites for desktop and mobile applications. • Tackle the challenge of migrating desktop applications to web-based platforms • Partner with the QA team to continuously improve automation through bug fixes, enhancements, and new feature requests. • Collaborate with QA leadership on automation strategy, planning, and best practices. • Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to support project success. • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on code quality and standards. • Stay current with modern testing methodologies, tools, and techniques, and proactively apply them. • Develop, optimize, and scale CI/CD automation pipelines. • Estimate the effort required for testing tasks and deliverables. • Create, maintain, and update QA documentation to support team processes and knowledge sharing.
