About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our Medical Bill Review team. The QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of medical bill review processes, identifying errors, and recommending improvements to enhance service quality and regulatory adherence.

The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst works closely with the Department Program Manager and QA Team Lead and collaborates with internal teams, vendor partners, and clients to ensure seamless workflows, clear communication, and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
• Audit medical bill reviews for accuracy, adherence to client-specific rules, and compliance with applicable regulations (e.g. workers' complementation, PPOs, UCR, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines).
• Identify trends and root causes of errors and provide feedback to relevant teams to improve accuracy.
• Collaborate with bill review analysts, coders, and clinical staff to resolve discrepancies and ensure high-quality review outcomes.
• Contribute to developing and updating QA policies procedures and training materials, when needed.
• Participate in system testing and validation for software updates affecting bill review processes.
• Monitor compliance with turnaround time standards and escalate issues as needed.

• Prior experience in medical billing, auditing, or coding is a plus.
• Knowledge of state-specific workers' compensation regulations or fee schedules is a plus.
• Part Time with the availability to work a max of 32 hours per week
• Individual must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or South Carolina.
