QC Specialist - Overnight shift
An international plant-based manufacturing company is seeking a QC Specialist. This position requires experience in a food-related industry as a QC or production lead role, plus knowledge of HACCP. • $25/hr. plus full benefits • Sunday – Friday morning, 09:00 pm – 06:00 am • Somerset, NJ • ****Training period (3 months) will be on the 1st shift (8am – 5pm) Requirements of the QC Specialist: • Experience in a food-related industry as QC or production lead • Proficient of Food Safety, cGMP, Sanitation Program, and HACCP • Knowledge and experience of SQF, FDA regulations, and FSMA/PCHF are plus • Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email) • Self-motivated and disciplined • English and Spanish proficiency (preferred but not required) • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in hot, humid, cold, and wet conditions Responsibilities of the QC Specialist: • Test incoming raw materials, in-process products, and final goods • Follow strict regulatory and internal guidelines • Document and review quality control records • Verify production processes and equipment • Address quality issues with the team • Maintain a clean and safe workspace • Manage inventory of QC supplies • Assist with audits, meetings, and recordkeeping as needed • Perform other duties as required Employment Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Sunday – Friday morning, 09:00 pm – 06:00 am Training period (3 months) will be on the 1st shift (8am – 5pm) Lab, lab testing, raw material testing, GMP, QC, QA, Quality control, Food science, Food Safety, cGMP, HACCP, SQF, FDA regulations, FSMA/PCHF Company DescriptionFor over twenty years, TriCom Quest has been a leader in the employment consultant industry, providing staffing services for both employers and job seekers, at virtually every level - from entry to executive.
