IT Quality Assurance Analyst (QA)
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 - 12 Months
Note: Experience with the Cannabis Regulatory Industry, Azure Dev Ops, Salesforce and Agile Project Management methods is preferred.
Seeking an experienced IT Quality Assurance Analyst with strong experience in Salesforce QA, Azure DevOps, and Agile/Scrum methodologies to support the Vermont Cannabis Control Board’s Salesforce-based cannabis licensing and compliance platform.
The role involves working closely with business and development teams to perform test planning, test case design, UAT coordination, defect tracking, and QA execution for a critical regulatory application used by internal and external users statewide.
Key focus areas include:
• Salesforce application testing and QA support
• Azure DevOps for test management, bug tracking, and project planning
• Agile/Scrum-based testing methodologies
• User story refinement and validation of evolving business requirements
• Coordination of UAT, regression, and functional testing activities
• Support for stabilization efforts, defect resolution, and backlog validation
• Cannabis Regulatory Industry knowledge
• Licensing, compliance, inventory tracking, or regulatory systems
• Salesforce ecosystem tools including Copado and Testim
• API testing experience
The environment includes a custom Salesforce platform integrated with external APIs and managed through Azure DevOps with Copado release automation.
