QA Engineer

Fliff unpacks sports gaming into social, free-to-play games for all types of sports fans. We've built a social sports gaming experience that allows users to compete for leaderboard positioning, to achieve badges and build their status within the game.We are pioneering play-for-fun sports gaming, with our flagship social sportsbook experience that includes sweepstakes promotions and loyalty rewards. We provide sports fans with fun, engaging, and free-to-play alternatives to real money gaming.The role itself:Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.Manually execute test cases across different platforms and document results.Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs, ensuring they are tracked and resolved.Perform regression testing to verify fixes and updates do not introduce new issues.Collaborate with developers and product managers to refine requirements and identify potential risks early.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in manual testing.Experience Required:Experience in software quality assurance and manual testing.Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.Hands-on experience with both functional and exploratory testing.Solid knowledge of SQL for validating data integrity.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.Benefits:Competitive compensation packageOpportunity for professional development in a dynamic, global settingSupportive, collaborative, and knowledge-driven workplaceEngaging and challenging role with the freedom to innovate and develop effective software solutionsWe are a multinational company with our headquarters based in Philadelphia, and offices in New York, Austin, and Sofia, Bulgaria.
