Python Developer (Junior)
Position Overview Python Developer (Junior) is a 6-month contract opportunity (Quantity: 2) based in Richmond, VA (100% Remote – adhere to EST/CST). You will join the team working on the Enterprise platform One Look Application, responsible for migrating current applications hosted on EC2, built with Python & Flask, to the new platform. This is a hands-on web development role where your strong background in Python, JavaScript, and React will be essential. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with the team to migrate existing EC2-hosted applications to the new One Look platform. • Analyze the new technology stack and contribute to effective migration planning. • Develop and maintain web components using Python, Flask, JavaScript, and React. • Work effectively in a remote setting across EST/CST time zones. Required Qualifications • Minimum 1+ years of experience in Python development. • Proven expertise in JavaScript and React. • Proficiency in creating and consuming REST APIs using Python. • Hands-on experience with Python Flask framework.
