Psychologist - Remote Position

Job Summary

My client in AZ is seeking a remote Psychologist with licensure in Arizona or a Compact License. Must be a PsyD. Must be familiar with Tele Health Technology and be open to working during the day but work within multiple time zones to meet client needs.

Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine psychological needs.
• Provide individual and group counseling services, utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychotherapy.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances, including those with PTSD, autism, or addiction issues.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns in clinical settings, ensuring adherence to best practices in patient care.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support to patients in distress.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Participate in research initiatives aimed at improving therapeutic approaches and outcomes within the field of psychology.
• Provide support in both inpatient and outpatient settings while addressing the needs of various populations, including geriatrics and pediatrics.

Qualifications
• Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active Arizona or Compact License to practice as a psychologist.
• Proven experience in child and family counseling with a focus on working with children and individuals with disabilities.
• Strong background in crisis intervention techniques and hospital experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with psychological testing methods and behavioral health practices.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct intake assessments effectively while maintaining compassionate patient care.
• Experience with telehealth platforms is highly desirable, along with knowledge of group therapy dynamics.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
