Provider Relations Representative

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is seeking an experienced and compassionate Provider Relations Representative to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for our provider network and be responsible for overseeing the contracting and credentialing of our provider network. The ideal candidate for this position will have a customer service-oriented approach to problem-solving, a strong background in healthcare industry operations, and excellent organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for providers in the BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina network.
Oversee the contracting and credentialing of providers in the network.
Maintain relationships with providers and ensure they have accurate and up-to-date information.
Respond to inquires from providers in a timely and accurate manner.
Monitor and track provider contract and credentialing status.
Provide support to providers with billing, coding, and other operational issues.
Resolve provider complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Prepare reports and documents related to provider contracting and credentialing.
Develop and implement strategies to improve provider relations and satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws.
