Program Background The Economic and Social Infrastructure Program (ESIP) is an Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) program implemented by DT Global. Under strategic direction from DFAT officials at the Australian High Commission in PNG, ESIP is delivering a range of activities and policy initiatives in the energy and telecommunications sectors. ESIP is also supporting PNG’s state-owned enterprise performance improvement program and delivering social infrastructure planning, design and construction services. For more information, please see www.dt-global.com The Role The Short Term Adviser (Scheduler) will provide targeted technical support to the ESIP Project Management Office (PMO) to strengthen project scheduling, planning, and reporting practices across ESIP’s portfolio. The Scheduler will work closely with Program Managers, Project Managers and Coordinators to establish consistent scheduling standards, improve the quality and reliability of project schedules, and enhance the PMO’s ability to monitor progress and support decision making. Click on the link or copy paste it to access the full Terms of Reference for this position: STA ToR_Scheduler_PMO.pdf About You Key selection criteria for the potential successful candidate includes, but not limited to: Tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, construction management, or another relevant discipline Certification in project scheduling or project management (e.g., PMP, PMI SP, PRINCE2) is desirable M inimum 7+ years demonstrated experience in project scheduling for infrastructure, construction, or multi sector development programs Experience working in donor funded, multidisciplinary, or developing country environments is highly desirable.
