Position Overview

This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust portfolio management framework that aligns with organizational strategy, drives value for clients, and ensures effective governance of technology investments.

The ideal candidate will partner closely with Client Success Directors, business stakeholders, and IT delivery teams to manage demand intake, prioritize initiatives, and ensure successful execution of technology programs and projects.

Responsibilities
• Build, implement, and maintain a portfolio management framework aligned with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.
• Partner with Client Success Directors to identify, evaluate, and prioritize technology programs and projects that support client business outcomes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand portfolio needs and translate them into enhancements in portfolio and program management methodologies; provide guidance and support to project teams.
• Lead quarterly and annual planning with business stakeholders to schedule and prioritize program and project needs.
• Monitor and report on the progress of technology programs and projects within the portfolio, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Support portfolio budget management by ensuring efficient and effective resource allocation; track and measure value realization for clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, project sponsors, and technology vendors.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues within the portfolio, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place.
• Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders and senior leadership; ensure timely and accurate reporting in collaboration with program and project managers.
• Own and prioritize portfolio deliverables to meet senior leadership expectations and governance standards.
• Govern and manage the intake pipeline, serving as the primary partner to Client Success Directors to capture, structure, align, and plan business demand.
• Align business intake with IT supply capacity and ensure consistent prioritization and alignment of demand across IT functions.
• Drive quarterly and annual planning with clients in collaboration with Client Success Directors.

Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of recent experience in portfolio management within a technology environment.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technology, business, finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Deep understanding of project and portfolio management methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Strong influencing, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a service-oriented mindset.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Power BI, and Excel.
• Experience with AI and prompt engineering is preferred.
• Proven ability to prioritize, delegate, and foster high-performing teams in a customer-centric environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
