Project Control Specialist II

The Project Controls Specialist II will support the Project Manager by developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring client document control systems, and communicating with project teams to report on key performance indicators. Responsibilities Develop Project Schedules using the project scope and Work Breakdown Structure Create custom project schedules with little guidance from Project Managers Update and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project, Excel Schedule, Vantagepoint Project Plan and/or Microsoft Teams Request and process project status updates from Project Managers, Area Project Delivery Leaders and/or Area Leaders. Status updates may be collected via redlined .pdf files, email messages, text messages, phone calls, team meetings, or one-on-one conversations Create project summaries and schedule variance reports with Project Managers Generate project and portfolio level reports to share with Project Managers and project team as needed Submitting, downloading, and/or updating forms, paperwork, etc. on external and internal document control systems Skills Bachelor's Degree 1-3 Year of Data Analysis Experience Excellent Communication Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Suite – particularly Excel Past/Current experience as a project accountant, project controls or project management Experience in Microsoft Project, Vantagepoint, Power BI, Scheduling or similar programs Benefits Flexible Work Environment Paid Parental Leave Medical Dental Vision Life and AD&D Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off + Holidays Company Overview Verdantas is a firm that solves complex natural and built environment problems and partners with clients.
