Project Analyst (Planning & Development Advisory)
Brailsford & Dunlavey, Inc. leads the planning, development, and management of places that shape and strengthen communities. They are seeking a Project Analyst who will produce analytics and synthesis to support project teams in advising clients like colleges and universities on long-term vision and strategy.ResponsibilitiesPerform data collection and analysis to support client engagements, including:Focus group facilitation and reportingIn-person and telephone interviewsSurvey design and analysisSpace planning and program developmentFinancial modeling and quantitative analysisPrint, market, and internet-based researchSynthesize analytical findings within relevant client, institutional, and market contextsActively contribute ideas, insights, and recommendations as a collaborative member of the project teamDevelop high-quality presentation decks, financial models, and written deliverables that support institutional decision-makingAssist with the coordination of project activities, including scheduling and participating in client meetings and presentationsServe as a secondary point of contact for clients, supporting communication and follow-through throughout project engagementsParticipate in B&Dβs business development efforts, including conference attendance, article development, and relationship buildingSupport quality control and client satisfaction efforts for assigned projectsAssist with the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staffContribute to the firmβs research and development initiatives by identifying new analytical tools, strengthening existing models, and improving internal processesPerform other duties as assigned, contributing proactively to team and firm successSkillsA bachelor's degree in higher education, construction management, planning, real estate development, architecture, or a related field is required1 year minimum of relevant professional experience or internship experienceStrong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with demonstrated intellectual curiosityExcellent written, verbal, presentation, and group facilitation skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational and project management capabilitiesAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environmentDemonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environmentComprehensive proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) beyond beginner levelStrong understanding of real estate, finance, and accounting principlesProven adaptability, flexibility, creativity, and commitment to excellenceSelf-motivated with an aptitude for continuous professional growth and developmentReliable transportation and willingness to travelClear alignment with and support for B&D's mission, values, and operating paradigmA master's degree in a related field is preferredBenefits100% Company-paid premiums for health, dental, and prescription insurance for employees and childrenCell phone reimbursementGenerous PTO401(k) 7% employer contributionsPaid parental leaveCompany OverviewBrailsford & Dunlavey is a program management firm with in-house planning capabilities.
