What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Read customer and shipping orders submitted in person, via catalog, and online; decipher difficult handwriting
Enter data into specified Microsoft Excel fields, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Verify the accuracy of data before entry and report any errors to the supervisor
Maintain accurate and updated logs of ongoing work
Perform administrative duties such as filing and copying for about three hours daily
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Strong reading comprehension and critical thinking skills
Excellent organizational abilities
Good communication skills
Patience for repetitive work
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Reading knowledge of English and Spanish (5 to 10 percent of orders are in Spanish)
1-2 years of experience in data entry and/or filing
Social perceptiveness and service orientation
