Job Description
ā¢ Responsible for bringing kitted material to machines for the next job
ā¢ Responsible to verify part numbers and quantities against packing list
ā¢ Responsible to deliver material to the machine area as requested
ā¢ Responsible to deliver correct lot to each machine
ā¢ Must put extra attention to job numbers
ā¢ Must be available to work overtime as required
ā¢ Must be able to assist in other areas as required
ā¢ Must be able to assist in other responsibilities as required
ā¢ Ability to work independently as required
ā¢ May receive general supervision with little instruction on routine work.
ā¢ Is knowledgeable of receiving and/or distribution function.
ā¢ Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
ā¢ Make effective decisions relative to production requirements
ā¢ Follow GMPs procedures.
ā¢ Perform area safety inspections to identify safety hazards and report findings in accordance with company protocols.
ā¢ Performs all duties with attention to quality, safety, and environmental matter such as wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, identifying, reporting, and appropriately responding to hazards in the work area (spills/accidents/near misses), Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including FDA, ISO, and OSHA.
ā¢ Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
ā¢ Assume responsibility for the environmental effects of work performed and for the identification and recording of environmental problems as they arise.
ā¢ Follow all applicable aspects of the site Environmental Management System as it pertains to normal job duties.
ā¢ Complete all regulatory training as assigned (GPM, s, ISO14001, OSHA, etc.).
ā¢ Be available for other projects or assignments as requested by management.
ā¢ Looking for ways to simplify or improve services, systems, and processes to achieve Qualifications Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills required.
ā¢ Ability to safely operate pallet jack (Electric Pallet Jack is a plus)
ā¢ Must be able to pay continuous attention to detailed operations.
ā¢ High School Diploma / GED or 4 months of material handler experience
