Job Title: Production AssistantJob Summary: This position is an entry-level position into the mortgage industry. Training is provided, and many candidates train into other higher level departments and positions within 12-15 months (loan processor, closing, loan officer assistant, operations). Others enjoy this role and choose to stay in this position long term. Visit https://loanpeople.com to learn more.Key ResponsibilitiesRequest approval to order appraisalOrder appraisalNotify parties of appraisal due dateOrder transcriptsRequest title workRequest EOIRequest HOA and condo docs, and submit to condo department for approvalOrganize file for loan processorAcquire verifications of employmentSupport loan processing teamRequirements:At least 2 years office experienceBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, and generally tech savvyDemonstrated ability for extreme attention to detail and critical thinkingGood verbal and written communication skillsDetail oriented, organized, and able to prioritize, multi-task, manage time, and work independently in a fast-paced environmentProfessional, friendly, courteous, positive, collaborative, and client-centric spirit that embraces diversity and inclusionExperience that is helpful but not required: data entry/scanning, accounting/bookkeeping, mortgage (disclosure, funding, closing, processing, post closing, shipping), real estate (contract to close)
