Product Owner - Contracts

A leading organization is hiring a Product Owner - Contracts to support a dynamic on-site team. The role involves coordinating project efforts, communicating with stakeholders, and translating requirements into actionable tasks. This is a temporary position focused on managing complex projects and ensuring timely execution within our client's operations. Local to NYC to come in as needed.
*Product Owner - Contracts Responsibilities:*
* Lead project teams and Scrum teams to deliver technology initiatives on schedule.
* Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders, including project personnel, end-users, and organizational leaders.
* Define project scope, objectives, and initiate projects aligned with strategic goals.
* Maintain documentation, control policies, and change management processes throughout project lifecycles.
* Communicate progress, challenges, and updates to management and stakeholders regularly.
*Product Owner - Contracts Qualifications:*
* At least 5 years of experience in a project management capacity.
* Must have experience with Conga
* Familiarity with Azure DevOps or equivalent project management tools.
* Strong understanding of project management principles and software development lifecycle.
* Outstanding leadership and organizational abilities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Must have at least 5+ yrs. experience with contracts.
* Finance industry background a plus
