We celebrate diversity and strive to create a team that encompasses a wide range of backgrounds, skill sets, and perspectives.As the Product Manager for Mesh Networking, you will work closely with the Senior Director of Product to ensure that the product meets customer needs and aligns with the company strategy for long-term success. This is not a hands-off strategy role, we are looking for someone who will become intimately familiar with the product and ultimately be a technical expert in how customers use it. You will drive forward high-visibility and strategic projects with a variety of stakeholders and become the go-to person for all things Mesh Networking in Ditto.As a Product Manager, you will:Work directly with the Senior Director of Product to ensure that your product area aligns with the company strategy Work directly with customers and customer-facing teams to ensure that the product is meeting customer needs and explore new product opportunitiesOwn your product area end-to-end: contribute to documentation, blog posts, demos, and marketing materials for new featuresCollaborate with the broader product team to ensure success for cross-functional projects involving your product areaWork with your associated Engineering team(s) to define and prioritize projects including customer requests, tech debt, and specific initiatives; making trade-off calls as requiredActively maintain a view of how the market, competition, and adjacent technologies evolve, and factor this information into the direction of your product areaModel Ditto’s culture of Trust, Communication, and Continual Improvement.What you'll need:Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent industry experience)2+ Years Experience in Product Management for a highly technical product3+ Years working within the computer networking spaceA keen interest to learn, Ditto is innovating and moving fast, you won’t have all the answers but must be capable of finding themTo be self-driven, nobody will tell you how to manage your day, how you work, or hand-hold you to successA problem solving mindset, not every problem can be solved by throwing engineers at itThe desire to understand the mobile and edge networking marketA willingness to travel (including internationally) once a quarter for company meetups and other events as necessaryExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to collaborate with people from different parts of the company and customers, both technical and non-technicalNice to Haves:Experience working in a remote, globally distributed teamExperience working with Enterprise-level network security (e.g. Palo Alto Networks, F5 etc) Experience working with mesh networking technologies Experience working with WANET or MANET systemsSome familiarity with lower level networking transports and protocols (e.g. TCP, QUIC)Some familiarity with bluetooth low energy (BLE)Benefits we offer:Competitive salariesStock optionsMedical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverageFlexible spending account (FSA)Flexible vacation policy401(k) plan Office located in Atlanta, GA.
