Product Manager - Group Retirement

The Product Manager for Group Retirement will support product innovation and regulatory compliance within the Product Lifecycle Squad, utilizing project management skills to drive successful product delivery and continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesSupport development and maintenance, monitoring of Product collateral - monitoring, review and tracking for needed updates and coordination with Marketing to update, enhanceLiaise with various teams across the organization to coordinate efforts and identify resource and other constraints to initiative implementationSupport the implementation of regulatory changes and other ad hoc required product changes, anything that requires product and platform updates, client, and advisor communicationsCoordinate and implement required client communications, documents at the advisor, plan and participant level for Educator and Enterprise Solutions Product suiteLead cross-functional project teams to deliver product initiatives, regulatory changes, and process improvements on time and within scopeDevelop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables for product launches, updates, and regulatory implementationsSales team technical product support – RVP’s, sales desk, via phone and in person for large opportunitiesAnswer product inquiries from wholesalers, advisorsOngoing product support and issue resolution for RVP’s, advisors, Service and OpsProduct sales training ongoing for RVP’s, sales desks, advisorsRFP review and answers in coordination with RFP teamAssist with other tasks as required in support of the Team LeaderSkills1 – 5 years of experience in a business, financial services environmentRelevant technical skills and experience required: exceptional knowledge of Word, ExcelAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, which often requires the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritiesStrong written and oral communication skills, particularly ability to translate complicated technical topics into clear, concise statementsComfortable interacting with individuals across a wide range of seniority levels and business areasUnderstanding of contracts and forms required to support group retirement plansStrong collaborative problem solving skillsExperience with group retirement business is a plusBasic knowledge of ERISA and non-ERISA retirement plan regulations, is a plusBachelor's in business management, finance, or related field preferredProject management skills and a detail-oriented individual are preferredExperience with employee benefits, life insurance, mutual fund and annuity product development, analysis and business data analysis is a plusBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionA 401(k) planPaid time offCompany OverviewEquitable provides consulting services to secure the financial well-being and retirement strategies for individuals and families.
