Dice is seeking a Senior DevOps Automation Engineer to design and implement a standardized CI/CD pipeline and Application Lifecycle Management strategy for Microsoft Power Platform solutions. The role involves establishing automated build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps and ensuring the security and scalability of Power Platform implementations.ResponsibilitiesThe Agency requires a Senior DevOps Automation Engineer to design and implement a standardized CI/CD pipeline and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) strategy for Microsoft Power Platform solutionsThis role will establish automated build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps (r equivalent), enabling secure and repeatable promotion of solutions across development, test and production environmentsThis position will be responsible for configuring source control integration, solution packaging (managed/unmanaged), and deployment automation, as well as implementing service principals and environment security required for unattended deploymentsIn addition, the resource will define governance standards, branching strategies, and release management processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and scalability of Poer Platform implementationsSkillsAt least 6-years of experience in CI/CD development, deployment and maintenance in a highly complex technical environmentStrong experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Enterprise and/or Azure DevOpsHands-on experience building automated deployment pipelines for Microsoft Power Platform, including: Power Apps (Canvas and Model Driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, Solution packaging (Managed/unmanaged) and environment promotionExperience implementing ALM strategies for Power Platform using tools such as: Power Platform CLI (PAC CLI), Solution Checker, Environment variables and connection referencesStrong experience with Azure services CI/CD, including: Azure Data Factory (ADF pipeline deployment), ARM/Bicep or Terraform for infrastructure as code, Azure resource deployment and configurationExperience with source control and branching strategiesGit (branching, pull request, release strategies)Repro standardization and migration (Azure DevOps -> GitHub)Experience designing secure, automated deployments: Service principals and managed identities, Secret management (Key Vault or equivalent), Role-based access control (RBAC)Experience building reusable pipeline templates and automation frameworksStrong Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, or similar)Experience establishing DevOps governance, standards, and best practices across multiple teamsExperience migrating pipelines from Azure DevOps to GitHub EnterpriseExperience with GitHub Actions and workflow automationExperience with test automation for Power Platform and Azure ServicesFamiliarity with enterprise security and compliance requirementsCompany OverviewDice is the go-to career marketplace for tech professionals.
