They are seeking a Product Manager to oversee all aspects of product lifecycle management for their North America Indoor Compact driver portfolio, focusing on achieving business goals and aligning product strategy with market trends.ResponsibilitiesAchieve business goals and key performance indicators (KPI), including accountability for top line sales, product vitality, margin, and qualityDrive on-time delivery of the products, providing clear specifications where required (e.g., hardware), but be agile when needed (e.g., software)Engage and supporting internal and external customersAlign product roadmap with business strategy and prioritiesUnderstand general lighting and technology trends, and assess the competitive landscape for the products in scopeGather inputs to assist in planning and strategy developmentUnderstand the lighting and driver's markets, products, and competitorsIdentify product & market opportunities to exploitDevelop compelling business cases for new products and other opportunitiesDefine and execute the product launch and marketing strategy in collaboration with the Sales team and Marketing teamContribute to Integrated Business Planning to manage business forecast and product life cycle, including product line rationalizationAct as the subject matter expert for the respective product line across functions to achieve sales growth and other KPIsOwn competitive product positioning, pricing, and marginsSkills1-3 years in product management, or similar role, in a lighting, electronics, or hardware technology businessBachelor's Degree in Engineering or BusinessExemplary communication skills with demonstrable ability to identify stakeholder's needs and influence cross-functional teams without formal authorityStrong product and technology acumen with an obsession over customer needsProven experience in managing products across the complete product lifecycle, from initial concept to end-of-lifeAble to quickly learn technical concepts and apply that to strategy and plansProficient in developing business cases and product requirementsSkilled in using MS Office applications3+ years in product management for LED drivers, fluorescent/HID ballasts, or similar lighting electronics devicesMaster of Business Administration (MBA)Experience influencing a cross-functional team in a matrix organizationDemonstrated technical understanding of product category and market dynamicsExperience with DALI, D4i, phase dimming, and other lighting control technologiesProficient using PowerBIBenefitsHealth careDental coverageVision plans401K benefitsCommissions/incentive compensationCompany OverviewAcuity Inc.
