Product Designer - Senior | LATAM | Remote

Remote Full-time
Overview

We're a U.S.-based healthcare technology company working to solve one of the industry's biggest challenges: nurse staffing. Our marketplace connects healthcare facilities with local nurses to fill shifts efficiently, transparently, and at scale—helping improve patient care while giving nurses more flexibility and control over their work.

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead a major evolution of our platform. You'll play a key role in redefining the product experience across mobile and web, working closely with stakeholders to turn complex workflows into simple, intuitive solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong design execution with product thinking and enjoys owning outcomes, not just screens.

What You'll Do
• Take full responsibility for the entire design process of product experiences — starting from identifying problems and developing concepts to detailed design and final delivery.
• Convert product vision, user requirements, and business objectives into user-friendly, scalable experiences.
• Lead user research efforts, including conducting interviews, usability tests, and analyzing insights to inform design choices.
• Establish user flows, information structures, and interaction patterns that address genuine user challenges.
• Create high-fidelity designs and prototypes that effectively convey purpose and functionality.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to influence product strategy and implementation.
• Participate in the creation and continuous improvement of design systems to maintain consistency, scalability, and quality throughout the product.
• Confirm design effectiveness through testing, iteration, and incorporating feedback.
• Make design decisions by balancing user needs, technical limitations, and business goals.
• Transform product objectives and user demands into clear user flows, interaction frameworks, and design solutions.
• Collaborate intimately with product managers and engineers to ensure design intentions are accurately realized and validated.
• Manage and enhance the design system to guarantee a consistent, high-quality user interface across the [REDACTED] marketplace.
• Design and refine chat and AI-powered workflows to enhance shift matching, onboarding processes, and overall operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For
• Over 5 years of professional experience crafting digital products that serve real users.
• A robust portfolio showcasing comprehensive product design processes, spanning from initial discovery to final delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, usability standards, and interaction design.
• Proven experience working alongside cross-functional teams within agile product development settings.
• Skilled at converting complex challenges into clear and sophisticated design solutions.
• Excellent communication abilities, capable of explaining design decisions and trade-offs effectively.
• Familiarity with design systems and the development of scalable component libraries.
• Demonstrated history of contributing to the design of digital products utilized by actual users.
• Strong grasp of user-centered design principles combined with strategic product thinking.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including expertise in creating and sustaining scalable design systems and component libraries.
• Experience collaborating closely with product managers and engineers to deliver end-to-end user experiences for intricate, data-intensive workflows.

Nice-to-Haves
• Experience in healthcare, staffing, or marketplace platforms
• Experience designing workflow-heavy or operations-driven products

How You Would Fit
• Product Thinking – you prioritize meaningful results over mere deliverables.
• User Empathy – you have a profound understanding of user challenges and requirements.
• Problem Solving – you clarify ambiguous issues into well-defined design solutions.
• Collaboration – you engage effectively with product, engineering, and business teams.
• High Ownership – you are accountable for the excellence and influence of your design work.
