Principal Data Scientist, Epidemiology, Patient Data Products
Job Description: • Lead groundbreaking research that is revolutionizing drug discovery • Lead complex research projects from conceptualization through execution • Provide mentorship and oversee technical members of the Epidemiology and Patient Data team • Engage external partners and stakeholders to translate research questions • Implement project plans that prioritize high impact workstreams • Collaborate with data science and program management functions to define project scope • Work with global patient data spanning electronic medical records and other data modalities • Champion and adopt shared analytic and coding standards Requirements: • PhD in epidemiology or biostatistics with 7+ years of work-related experience (or MPH/MS with 10+ years) • Robust statistical analytic skills applicable to observation study designs • Advanced knowledge in biostatistics approaches • Familiarity with applying LLMs to real world data • Clear communication and confidence in using agile software tools • Experience leading complex research projects with real business impacts • Must have experience conducting data manipulation and statistical analysis in Python and/or R • Experience being an externally facing project leader Benefits: • healthcare coverage • annual incentive program • retirement benefits • broad range of other benefits Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
