Presentation and Visual Designer

Job Title: Presentation and Visual Designer Location: Remote Department/Team: Creative Services Reports To: Creative Director Position Type: Contract, availability required January – Mid-March (exact dates to be confirmed) Purpose or Objective of the Position The Presentation and Visual Designer at Electric Pen is responsible for creating dynamic and impactful presentations that tell compelling stories and engage audiences. You will work closely with our creative and account services teams to transform complex information into visually stunning presentations that reflect our brand's promise of delivering results without the drama. This role also includes designing for high-profile keynote events and executive-level presentations, requiring the ability to craft visually powerful narratives for large audiences, industry conferences, and leadership summits. You will be expected to elevate content into inspiring visual experiences that align with the tone, style, and strategic goals of senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities and Duties - Design and produce high-quality presentation materials in PowerPoint. - Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and implement design strategies that effectively communicate client messages. - Ensure all presentation designs are aligned with Electric Pen’s brand standards and client expectations. - Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies in presentation design. - Assist in the development and refinement of presentation design processes and standards. - Translate complex or abstract concepts into clear, compelling visual stories suitable for executive audiences. - Work closely with keynote speakers, event producers, and senior leadership to develop cohesive visual frameworks for large-scale events. - Adapt presentation materials for multiple formats, including live events, virtual conferences, and hybrid presentations. Qualifications and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field. - 4+ years of professional experience in presentation design, preferably within an agency setting. - Proficient in PowerPoint, Keynote, and Adobe Creative Suite, with a portfolio demonstrating strong design skills. - Experience designing for high-visibility presentations, executive communications, or keynote events strongly preferred. Skills and Competencies - Excellent design and typography skills with a keen eye for detail. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly. - Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for storytelling through visual design. - Ability to quickly interpret complex information and distill it into clean, strategic visual narratives. - Comfort working directly with clients and senior stakeholders in a fast- paced, collaborative environment.
