Pre-Funding QC Specialist
The Pre-Funding Quality Control Specialist will analyze mortgage loans for compliance with investor, agency, and regulatory requirements prior to closing of the loan file. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform a pre-funding loan analysis to ensure process conducted in origination meets UHM, Agency, and regulatory requirements. Complete the loan audit in a professional manner, using correct grammar and ensuring that wording for all findings are clear and easy to understand. Communicates with operation and sales partners concerning findings/resolution of findings. Perform special audits in accordance with procedures, when applicable. Remain current with regulation changes from government/state agencies, as well as policy changes from Agencies and Investors and company Policies and Procedures (Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA). Maintain knowledge of all underwriting guidelines. Working knowledge of Word and Excel. Meet daily file production expectations set for the department. Perform other duties as required or assigned.
