PR & Communications Freelancer (GovTech / AI)
Readyly is an AI communications platform helping local governments better serve residents through AI-powered chat, voice, text assistants. Our technology is already live with real municipalities, supporting resident services, accessibility, and day-to-day local government operations. We’re looking for an experienced PR & communications freelancer to help build awareness, credibility, and ongoing momentum through thoughtful media coverage, case studies, and online presence. What You’ll Do - Pitch Readyly stories to relevant publications (local, regional, GovTech, CivicTech) - Help place case studies and success stories based on real deployments - Work on ongoing PR momentum (not one-time hype) - Support messaging around AI in local government and public services - Assist with LinkedIn content (company and leadership visibility) - Advise on PR angles and positioning as the company grows What We’re Looking For - Experience in PR, communications, or media outreach - Comfortable pitching stories and building coverage from scratch - Strong writing and storytelling skills - Able to work independently while coordinating with our team Engagement Details - Flexible weekly hours based on workload - Opportunity for ongoing work if it’s a strong fit Important Notes - All outreach, messaging, and approvals will be coordinated directly with Readyly Please include: - A brief summary of your relevant PR experience - Examples of media placements, press coverage, or published work (if available) Apply tot his job
