JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Administer and maintain the **Microsoft Power BI Service environment (workspaces, datasets, dataflows)
• Manage user access, roles, and permissions using role-based access control (RBAC)
• Configure tenant settings, gateways, and capacity (Premium / Fabric)
• Monitor system usage, performance, and refresh schedules
• Implement data governance policies and naming conventions
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH)
• Manage on-premises data gateway connections to EHR and hospital systems
• Support report developers and business users with troubleshooting
• Oversee deployment pipelines and version control processes
• Audit data access and usage for security and compliance
Healthcare-Specific Responsibilities
• Work with data from EHR systems such as Epic Systems, Cerner, or similar platforms
• Ensure PHI (Protected Health Information) is securely handled and masked where necessary
• Support reporting for clinical quality metrics, patient outcomes, and regulatory submissions
• Collaborate with compliance, clinical informatics, and IT security teams
