Note: OPT with Post Completion and having 9 month validity/OR Just started Stem with 18 months validity PostgreSQL DBA Remote PostgreSQL DBA JD : Responsible for installation, configuration, performance tuning, security, high availability, and operational support of PostgreSQL databases across production and nonproduction environments. Key Responsibilities • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain PostgreSQL databases. • Manage schemas, indexes, partitioning, and PL/pgSQL routines. • Optimize database performance, queries, and resource utilization. • Implement backup/restore strategies (pgBackRest, WAL archiving). • Configure and support HA/DR (Streaming Replication, Logical Replication, Patroni). • Monitor health, performance, and capacity using pg_stat views and monitoring tools. • Ensure database security, access control, patching, and auditing. • Troubleshoot database issues, deadlocks, replication lag, and performance bottlenecks. • Automate routine admin tasks (Shell/Python/Ansible). • Support cloud-managed Postgres (AWS/Azure/arenaflex Cloud Platform) as required. Required Skills • Strong PostgreSQL administration (4 10+ years). Strong Data Base Management System knowledge. • Expertise in SQL, PL/pgSQL, indexing, and query tuning. • Solid experience with replication, HA frameworks, and backups. • Good Linux fundamentals and scripting skills. • Hands-on experience with cloud-based PostgresApply Now
