Job Highlights Start Date: Immediate openings available Position: Home Infusion Nurse Company: Aetna Location: Remote (Seattle, USA, and surrounding areas) Compensation: Competitive salary of $26/hour Key Responsibilities As a Home Infusion Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include: Providing a wide range of infusion treatments in patients' homes Utilizing your clinical IV experience and personal touch to help patients recover in the comfort of their own homes Conducting one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education according to the physician's plan of treatment Maintaining excellent written and verbal customer service skills to interact with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other partners Participating in on-call rotation as needed Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of work, with additional licensure potentially required in multi-state service areas A minimum of one year of nursing experience, with IV-related experience being an asset Current CPR certification A valid and current driver's license and car insurance Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word to document and track patient care activity Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Three years of nursing experience One year of infusion experience Home healthcare experience Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Excellent clinical nursing skills, with the ability to work independently Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Aetna, we are committed to supporting the ongoing education and development of our nurses.
