Portfolio Risk Analyst
Description The Portfolio Risk Analyst supports the Bank's enterprise risk management strategy through the monitoring of credit, concentration (including geographic, industry and interest rate), and systemic risks within the Bank's loan portfolio. Support the Bank's Allowance for Credit Losses (ACL) process and production of related information and reporting. Produce periodic reports on the loan portfolio incorporating economic and market data to provide guidance to credit risk management activities regarding the risk profile of the commercial loan portfolio. Monitor existing and potential loan activity against regulatory and Bank established exposure limits. Skills Risk management, Portfolio analysis, Data Analysis, Commercial Loans, Underwriting, Current Expected Credit Loss Accounting Standards, CECL, Valucast, SAP, Report writing, loan Analysis, Loan risk rating systems, FIS Top Skills Details Risk management,Portfolio analysis,Data Analysis,Commercial Loans,Underwriting,Current Expected Credit Loss Accounting Standards,CECL,Valucast Additional Skills & Qualifications Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS) in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field • 5 years of banking experience in commercial and commercial real estate lending, preferably including portfolio management • 2 years of experience in risk management • Working knowledge of the Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) accounting standard Preferences: • Master’s degree in arts/sciences (MA/MS) MBA • Experience with CECL software program(s), preferably ValuCast • Experience with Data Analysis & SAP/Crystal report writing • CPA, or CFA • Ability to research and analyze loan portfolio data and combine with economic and industry data to assess risks within the commercial loan portfolio • Understanding of bank commercial loan products and underwriting • Understanding of loan risk rating systems • Understanding of bank core systems, preferably the FIS IBS system Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $150000.00/yr. 401k, Health, Dental, Vision, Discretionary annual bonus Workplace Type This is a hybrid position in Rockville,MD.
